September through October is the busiest time of the year for bike rides and here is a schedule of upcoming events:

 

The Tulsa Bicycle Club Fall Century

No, you don’t have to ride 100 miles to join in on this great Fall ride through the back roads of rural Tulsa county. Add great support with nutricious and relaxing rest stops, and you get the very best in Oklahoma cycling in the fall. Tom’s Bicycles will be there to help.

October 3rd

Cystic Fibrosis Cycle for Life Night Ride! in Tulsa. Ride with us as we tour as through some of the most picturesque and scenic terrain in Tulsa, OK. CF Cycle for Life is a fully-supported ride with route options of 20 & 40 miles. Both options are bike friendly and the majority of the ride is on the River Park lighted trails for your safety. Tom’s will be there to help.

October 4th

The 2014 Dickens of a Ride  , in Claremore, OK. The Dickens of a Ride is a must attend event for the entire family! The bicycle ride begins in downtown Claremore, Oklahoma at Gazebo Park, located at Muskogee Ave. and Will Rogers Blvd. The five available routes, depending on the distance chose by the bike rider, will take you through the scenic country side west of Claremore, through Oologah, then to the Claremore Lake area. October 10-12

Fall Fandango  , in  Tahlequah, OK.

Freewheel Fandango is a 3 day bicycle event in Northeastern Oklahoma, packed full of adventure, food, and just plain fun.

When: October 10-12, 2014

  • Register for 3 days, 2 days or 1 day.
  • Registration includes a spot for tent camping, long sleeved t-shirt, and marked, fully supported routes.
  • Includes dinner Friday night, breakfast and dinner Saturday, and breakfast Sunday morning.
  • Cabin rentals and float trips (for an additional fee) can be reserved directly through Arrowhead Resort.

 October 18th

The Twenty-Eighth  Alfalfa Bill Century Bicycle Ride, Tishomingo, OK  10-100 miles, ride in the beautiful Tishomingo area, the oatmeal cookies alone are worth the price of admission!

Where to Find Us

Just a reminder that the intersection of  I-44 and Lewis is completely closed to North/South traffic.

Tom’s on Peoria is located just off Riverside Drive at the intersection of Peoria Ave and Riverside Drive.  That’s just north of 71st St.  The best way to get here is to find your way to Riverside Drive and turn on Peoria.  There we are!

Tom’s on 15th is located between Peoria and Utica on the south side of the road, directly across from the Subway and next door to the Coffeehouse on Cherry Street.

Spring Training Rides Happening Now

Get ready for the riding season at Spring training rides with other Tulsa cyclists. These rides gradually build mileage and road experience until you are ready to ride anywhere! Saturdays and Sundays through May. Get started here.
